Why was my refund less than expected?Updated 19 days ago
If your refund amount is lower than you anticipated, it’s usually due to standard deductions required by manufacturers or carriers.
Common Reasons Refunds Are Lower
1. Restocking Fees (20–25%)
Most eligible returns are subject to restocking fees unless the return was our error.
2. Non-Refundable Shipping
Shipping costs — including freight, LTL, and oversized item handling — are non-refundable once shipped.
3. Return Shipping Fees
If you paid for return shipping, this cost is not refunded.
4. Missing or Damaged Components
Deductions may apply if:
Hardware was missing
Packaging was damaged
Accessories were not returned
The item required repackaging or repair
5. Processing Fees for Cancellations
If you canceled an order before shipping, a processing fee may be deducted as outlined in our cancellation policy.
6. Partial Refunds
If you are returning only part of your order, the refunded amount will reflect the value of the returned item(s).
