Do you charge restocking fees?Updated 18 days ago
Yes. Most returns are subject to a restocking fee, which is standard across the automotive parts industry.
Standard Restocking Fees
20% for standard return-eligible items
25% for special-order, made-to-order, or rare items
These fees are required by most manufacturers and help cover non-recoverable costs.
Why Restocking Fees Exist
Restocking fees cover:
Inspection and quality control
Repackaging
Manufacturer restocking requirements
Administrative processing
Payment processor fees (which are not refunded to merchants)
Warehouse handling and transportation costs
Without restocking fees, automotive parts stores would need to raise prices across the board.
When Restocking Fees Do Not Apply
We waive restocking fees when:
We shipped the wrong item
The manufacturer confirms a defect
The warehouse made a fulfillment error
In these cases, we will also provide a prepaid return label.
