Do you charge restocking fees?Updated 18 days ago

Yes. Most returns are subject to a restocking fee, which is standard across the automotive parts industry.

Standard Restocking Fees

  • 20% for standard return-eligible items

  • 25% for special-order, made-to-order, or rare items

These fees are required by most manufacturers and help cover non-recoverable costs.

Why Restocking Fees Exist

Restocking fees cover:

  • Inspection and quality control

  • Repackaging

  • Manufacturer restocking requirements

  • Administrative processing

  • Payment processor fees (which are not refunded to merchants)

  • Warehouse handling and transportation costs

Without restocking fees, automotive parts stores would need to raise prices across the board.

When Restocking Fees Do Not Apply

We waive restocking fees when:

  • We shipped the wrong item

  • The manufacturer confirms a defect

  • The warehouse made a fulfillment error

In these cases, we will also provide a prepaid return label.
