Can I return an item that has been opened?Updated 17 days ago
Yes — as long as the item is unused, uninstalled, and in perfect, resellable condition.
Opening the box does not automatically disqualify an item from being returned, but it does need to meet strict requirements.
What Counts as “Opened but Acceptable”?
The item:
Has NOT been installed
Shows zero signs of wear
Is in original, complete packaging
Has all accessories, hardware, and paperwork
Has no cosmetic damage or marks
If the packaging is slightly opened but the part remains new, it may qualify for return.
What Makes an Opened Item Non-Returnable?
Items cannot be returned if:
Mounting points show wear
Hardware has been torqued or used
Wiring has been cut, stripped, or plugged in
There are tool marks or scratches
Protective films or seals are removed
The packaging is destroyed or missing
In these cases, the item is considered used and final sale.
Tip for Returns
We strongly recommend opening packages carefully and retaining all materials until fitment is confirmed.
