Can I return an item if the price changed after I ordered?Updated 18 days ago
No. Price changes that occur after purchase — whether due to sales, promos, MAP updates, or supplier adjustments — do not qualify for refunds or return exceptions.
Why Price Changes Happen
1. Manufacturer MAP Updates
Brands like HKS, ARK, ETS, Tomei, etc. regularly update their MAP (Minimum Advertised Price).
These price changes can occur at any time.
2. Promotional Discounts
Holiday sales, flash sales, email-exclusive discounts, and bundle offers may temporarily reduce prices.
These are not applied to previous orders.
3. Supplier or Warehouse Changes
Suppliers may adjust pricing based on:
Material cost changes
Freight rate increases
Demand and availability
Manufacturer production cycles
Industry Standard Policy
Automotive performance parts follow the same policy as electronics, tools, computers, and equipment:
Prices at time of purchase are final.
Future price drops or promotions do not retroactively apply.
If You Want the New Price
If the part is still brand new and return-eligible:
You may return it (minus restocking fees)
Repurchase at the updated price
This option only applies if the item meets the full return requirements.
