What if the manufacturer denies my warranty claim?Updated 17 days ago
Warranty approvals are handled directly by the manufacturer or their authorized distributor. Because they are the ones who inspect the part, their decision is considered final.
Revline cannot override or alter manufacturer warranty decisions.
Why the Manufacturer’s Decision Is Final
Manufacturers evaluate:
Installation condition
Signs of misuse
Overheating, overboost, or improper tuning
Damage caused by other components
Incorrect fluids, torque specs, or tools
Racing or track abuse
Prior modifications to the part
If they determine the issue was caused by something other than a product defect, they will deny the claim.
Common Reasons Warranty Claims Are Denied
The part was improperly installed
The part was used with incompatible modifications
Signs of forced fitment or tool damage
The vehicle was tuned beyond recommended limits
External factors caused the failure (oil starvation, detonation, contamination)
The part was previously tampered with or altered
The serial number does not match the warranty database
If a Claim Is Denied
If your claim is denied:
The manufacturer will return the part to you
No refund or credit will be issued
You may pay shipping charges for the return
The part will be considered used and cannot be returned or exchanged
Revline will provide you with any photos or reports the manufacturer shared.
