Special-Order / Made-to-Order ItemsUpdated 17 days ago

Special-order, custom-built, and made-to-order items are manufactured or sourced specifically for your vehicle and specifications. Because these products enter production immediately once submitted to the supplier, they follow stricter policies than standard stocked items.


What Counts as a Special-Order Item?

A product is considered special order if it meets any of the following:

  • It is built, fabricated, or coated after your order is placed

  • It is imported in limited quantities directly from the manufacturer

  • It requires custom configuration (finish, fitment, piping layout, etc.)

  • It is a brand that does not carry U.S. warehouse stock

  • It is labeled as Made to Order, Built to Order, Pre-Order, or Special Order on the product page

These items are not taken from a warehouse shelf—they are sourced or created specifically for you.


Cancellation Policy

Because special-order items begin processing with the manufacturer immediately:

  • They cannot be canceled once the order is submitted to the supplier

  • Requests to cancel after submission will not be accepted

  • No exceptions can be made for delays outside our control (production times, freight schedules, customs processing, material shortages, etc.)

If you are unsure whether an item is special-order, please reach out before purchasing.


Return Policy

Special-order and made-to-order items are:

  • Non-returnable

  • Non-refundable, unless the product arrives defective

  • Subject to brand-specific warranty processes (if applicable)

Because these items are not resellable or restockable, they cannot be returned because of delays, vehicle changes, unexpected installation costs, or buyer’s remorse.


Lead Times & Production Estimates

Lead times for special-order items are provided directly by the manufacturer and are estimates, not guarantees. These timelines may fluctuate due to:

  • Production queue volume

  • Material availability

  • Manufacturer holidays

  • International shipping

  • Customs clearance

  • Freight delays

While we will always provide the most up-to-date information available, lead times can change.


Important Disclaimer

By placing an order for a special-order or made-to-order item, you acknowledge and accept:

  • The item is final sale

  • Lead times may vary

  • The order cannot be canceled once submitted

  • Returns are not accepted unless the item arrives defective

If a defect is found, we will assist you through the manufacturer’s warranty process to reach the appropriate resolution.
