Are labor or installation costs refundable?Updated 19 days ago
Labor, installation, diagnostic fees, tuning charges, or shop expenses are not refundable under any circumstances. This includes fees charged by:
Dealerships
Independent mechanics
Performance shops
Alignment or tuning specialists
Mobile installers
Once a part has been installed—correctly or incorrectly—Revline cannot reimburse any associated labor costs.
Why Labor Cannot Be Refunded
1. Revline Does Not Perform Installation
Because all installation work is performed by third-party shops, we do not control:
Tools used
Fitment process
Instructions followed
Torque specifications
Safety steps
Technician expertise
Shops charge independently for their services, and Revline has no authority to refund those charges.
2. Installed Items Are Considered Used
Any part that has been installed, mounted, wired, or test-fitted automatically becomes non-returnable and final sale per manufacturer rules.
If the wrong part was ordered by mistake, shops may still charge labor — Revline cannot refund those fees.
3. Misdiagnosis, Incorrect Fitment, or Shop Error
Labor resulting from incorrect installation, misdiagnosis, or improper fitment is the responsibility of the shop or installer.
If a Part Is Defective
If the part is confirmed defective by the manufacturer:
Replacement parts are provided
The defective item follows standard warranty procedure
However, labor is not covered by most performance manufacturers unless explicitly stated in their warranty (rare).
Recommendation
We strongly encourage verifying fitment before installation and using a trusted, certified performance technician familiar with your specific vehicle platform.
